Privacy Policy

This page explains what information is used when you visit pickme and what choices you have.

No accounts

You can play without signing up. We do not ask for your name, email address or any other personal details.

Stored in your browser

The site saves a few settings in your browser's local storage: light or dark theme, Full or Framed layout, and the progress of an unfinished game so you can continue it. This data stays on your device, is not sent to us, and you can delete it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

Advertising and cookies

This site may show ads served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

You can opt out of personalized advertising:

Ads may still be shown after you opt out, but they will not be personalized. Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services. Ads are not switched on yet. Once they are, visitors where the law requires it (for example in the EU, EEA and UK) will be asked for consent before personalized ads are shown.

Services that receive your IP address

Like any website, pages and files are delivered by servers that see your IP address and basic browser information. This includes our hosting provider (Cloudflare), Google Fonts (for the typeface), and the servers the photos are loaded from (mainly Wikimedia Commons). Each handles that data under its own privacy policy.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top.
